Nurturing Values Through Storytelling: A Journey of Self-Discovery
The inspiration for the book came from my experiences as a mother. The lack of resources for children to realize their inner self, and my desire to teach my children important values such as kindness, bravery, and self-worth. Growing up with a rich cultural heritage and facing various challenges in life. I wanted to create a story that would inspire children to explore the wonders of the world. Embrace their unique qualities, and find the magic within themselves.

Expanding Serenity Forest: Future Plans and Outreach Goals
In the future, I plan to create more stories set in Serenity Forest, each focusing on different characters and themes. I also hope to develop a series of educational materials and activities based on the book to further engage young readers and support parents and educators. Additionally, I aim to reach a wider audience through book readings, school visits, and community events.
Family Roots and Creative Journey
Born to a Cuban immigrant mother and a Puerto Rican father, I have always valued the strong family bonds that shaped my upbringing. These values are deeply embedded in my writing. As I strive to create stories that resonate with readers from all walks of life.
Outside of writing, I am a devoted wife and mother to five wonderful children. Having one energetic dog named Beemo (from tv show Adventure Time). My life has been a whirlwind of diverse experiences, from working in retail at a Whole Foods Market buyer, a 1year sprint as a saleswoman that taught me a lot about the human condition, various other odd jobs, and pursuing my passion for baking custom cakes and pastries.
I managed to do very well, even got a gig with Dove to promote their Real Beauty campaign in 2017. Covid made things hard for a lot of business and I used the time off to be creative and write my ideas down. I have always valued freedom and expression of oneself, and I do hope that these books can help not only children, but parents realize their own potential. These experiences have taught me resilience, creativity, and the importance of following one’s dreams.
