A Mysterious Calling to Idaho
As mother nature’s fury grew, and mankind’s rage grows, people begin having dreams, and thinking for some strange reason, they need to get to a ranch house in Idaho. They aren’t sure why. All they know is that the compulsion to get there is strong. The need to fix what is wrong and survive together into an uncertain future. They come from all over America, heading for a special place only seen in their dreams. The woman and her husband who own the ranch house know something about the future that is ahead. She has a special gift, an insight into what is to come. She and her husband have been preparing the ranch house, which borders a national forest, for years.
Foretold: A Prophecy Unfolds
As the eclectic group slowly began to gather, there were others doing their own gathering. This group, though, was looking to create harm.
The epic battle of good versus evil is about to begin, as the things “Foretold” in the Bible, by Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce, start to unfold.
A Legacy of Stories: From Dreams to Reality
This tale is not about the end of the world so much as it is about survival. Foretold was the first book I wrote. I felt that in a world that is unsettled, it would be an inspiration to have a story about those willing to stand and fight against the evils around us. At the time, my brother had just passed away. He left behind a legacy of love and helping. I wanted to leave a legacy of the wild ideas that constantly drift through my mind. Inspiration comes from everything I see, as well as the dreams that jolt me awake at night. I’ve also discovered that the hazy state between wakefulness and sleep, known as Hypnagogia, is a rich source of creativity. In fact, I even wrote a short story collection inspired by that theme, naming it after the state itself.
A Thrilling Blend of Suspense, Mystery, and Family Bonds
I believe readers of different genres will enjoy this tale. Readers will find suspense, mystery, conspiracy, and even romance. The book examines how family isn’t just something you are born into. Family is what we make of it and who we stand with. I hope readers will come away from this book feeling better about what can be made of life and relationships.
Inspiring a Lifelong Love of Reading from Childhood to Adulthood
This book is primarily intended for adults, but I also write for young adults and children, particularly preschoolers, as I believe that fostering a love of books from an early age has a profound impact on a child’s development. When children are introduced to reading at a young age, they build stronger language skills, develop creativity and critical thinking, and gain a lifelong appreciation for learning. Books open doors to new worlds, spark curiosity, and inspire imagination, and I take great joy in crafting stories that nurture these qualities. Through engaging narratives and meaningful lessons, I strive to create books that captivate young minds and encourage a lifelong love of reading, knowing that early literacy lays the foundation for academic success, empathy, and independent thought.
A Legacy in Words: Writing with Purpose and Gratitude
I don’t actually have many plans ahead for this book. That’s because I have so many written now. I began writing in 2012. I actually only thought I would be able to write one book. When I wrote fifty in the first five years of doing this, I was amazed. I was, and am, so thankful to the readers who grabbed the books, encouraged me on social media, and left wonderful reviews. Just one book sale with a great review is worth millions of dollars to me. After I had written seventy-six books, I was told I had three to five years to live.
So, I set a goal to finish one hundred books before I leave this world. I am currently working on my ninety-fourth book, bringing me closer to my goal. With a year and a half remaining of the time I was given to live, I cherished each moment. Surrounded by family and friends in Montana, I feel fortunate to call this place home. The breathtaking landscape, rich with trees and water, is a constant source of peace and inspiration.. My home sits next to a stream, and I get many wildlife visitors. I talk to them and have used them in the books I write for children.
The book Foretold can be found on Amazon and also on Barnes and Noble.
