Carrie Randall, a substance abuse counselor who is unsuccessful at dating, comes face-to-face with death when two men approach her in a dark alley. Amid her assault, something resembling a werewolf, comes to her rescue in the nick of time. As she tries to process everything, unsure if what she witnessed was real or fantasy, her world suddenly collides with a handsome stranger as though they were somehow brought together by fat.
Despite her past relationships, Carrie finds herself spellbound, falling for Joseph Parker, a handsome, yet mysterious, journalist who works for an esteemed newspaper in Berkeley, California. But when Carrie discovers his terrifying secrets, she begins to fear for her life.
Now, Carrie is forced to make the hardest decision of her life. She can turn her back on Joseph, or stay and help him fight the demon who desires her soul.
The main character in the book, Joseph Parker, was my inspiration. His story, growing up in an abusive household, is something I can relate to. My childhood is somewhat similar to Joseph’s. Although his story is bittersweet, writing it was like my therapy, releasing those haunting memories of my own childhood trauma.
My audience is for anyone who enjoys adult fantasy, romance, mystery, action, loveable characters and some you love to hate, horror, shape-shifting creatures (wolves, werewolves, vampires, angels, demons, etc.), and a fairytale ending.
My books will take you on a mystical journey full of rollercoaster emotions, but will not disappoint at the end. I always provide my readers with a good feeling that good always triumphs over evil. I think this world needs a story they can escape into and walk away with a good feeling.
I’m from a small town in Northwest Arkansas where I live with my ten-pound Chihuahua, Chocco boy, who is my sidekick and also my inspiration for writing. I’ve always had a passion for fantasy, romance, and the supernatural world, and my idea of heaven is creating new adventures for my Breedline characters. I love to engage with readers about my books either on social media, in person at book signings, podcasts, or whoever wants to chat.
In 2019, I ranked the second novelist in FanStory. In 2022, I also received an award in Literary Titan for my novels. When I’m not writing, I am a full-time Fitness Coordinator/CPR instructor for a corporate wellness center.
I first began writing my Novels of the Breedline series in 2014. I have completed six books including: Sweet Chaos, Total Chaos, Unleashed Chaos, Sins of Chaos/Author’s Edition, Sins of Chaos/Revised Edition, The Immortal, and The Curse.
I am currently rewriting my first two books, Sweet Chaos and Total Chaos. I believe a story can always be better, so I’ve decided to give them a complete facelift inside and out. Books in my future I plan to write are: Living Nightmares, Vampirism in Manhattan, and Big Bad Wolf.
