The “Piggly in trouble again…” was born out of my desire to ignite the imagination of young readers. In a world dominating by technology and instant gratification, fostering creativity and imaginative thinking is crucial. Through the adventures of Piggly, a lovable and mischievous character, I aimed to encourage children to explore their own imaginations, to think outside of the box, and to embrace the joy of storytelling.
By weaving moral dilemmas and ethical choices into the narrative, I aimed to encourage readers to reflect on their own actions and consider the consequences of their decisions. Themes such as honesty, friendship, and perseverance are subtly interwoven throughout the story, allowing young readers to learn and grow alongside Piggly.
The target audience for this book is primarily children between the age of 3-6. The book is designed to engage and captivate young readers, with its relatable characters, imaginative storytelling, and valuable lessons.
I’m also considering the possibility of developing a series based on Piggly’s ad. This would allow readers to further explore the character’s growth, face new challenges, and continue learning valuable lessons.
A little bit about me 😊My name is Agnes, born and raised in Hungary. At the age of 22 I moved to London, where I worked as a nanny and went to school to learn English. I lived in London for a year, and then moved to New York, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, where I lived for 15 years. During these years I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by famous people, as well as met many wonderful people. Currently I live in Greenfield, Indiana, with my husband, 3 beautiful girls and 3 cats.
I was extremely delighted when Author’s Lounge approached me about writing an article for Readers Magnet. I was very excited and honored. I would like to thank them for the opportunity 🙏
