My name is Darlene Brooks, I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I am a published author of MY LEFT SIDE that I wrote in 2015. I have decided to have ReadersMagnet, Victor Perry as my publisher. My book, MY LEFT SIDE, is about different challenges that I have been through in my life, and it all had to do with my left side. One example is I had been shot, the bullet went through my left side, it hit my elbow first then went through my left side, and hit my kidney, and now I have half of a kidney.
On January 21, 1985 a girlfriend and I had been partying at my apartment, and we decided to go out to a friend of ours lounge, where there had been a confrontation earlier that day and, when we got their, we weren’t their five minutes before someone came in shooting. This is just a little bit of one of my stories. I decided to call ReadersMagnet where I met Victor Perry who is my publisher, I fill blessed to have him. Victor made me fill like I was his sister. I feel like I have known him my whole life.
This is the year 2019, and I am excited about getting my book back into the public eye, because I believe that you will be expired on how the Lord kept me, and I am still alive to tell my story. Just know that whatever you go through in life that it’s just a test for your testimony, and that you may help somebody else that’s going through the same thing you went through. I just want to thank ReadersMagnet for bringing me on board, we are family.
