Autobiography

Roslynn Bryant is the third daughter of Pastor Thomas F. Bryant Jr. and Dr. Lillie M. Bryant.  She was raised on Long Island, New York. She graduated as salutatorian from high school where she also received the EAB/Channel 12 News Scholar-Athlete Award. She was recognized by the Long Island Mathematics Conference for her academic excellence in the subject of Mathematics and was given a $1000 scholarship towards her college education. She received a full academic scholarship to earn her both bachelors and masters degrees in Mathematics at a university in Atlanta, Georgia.  She graduated from the university in 1998 with highest honors. While in school, she received her call into the ministry and began with evangelizing students on her college campus and serving as a Bible study leader with the Intervarsity Christian Fellowship.  She became an ordained minister in 2009 and has ministered in various settings such as women’s conferences, pastoral anniversary celebrations, as a Bible College commencement speaker, and at the Nassau County Corrections Center for men and women. She believes strongly in evangelism and discipleship and has spent the majority of her ministry in the area of witnessing and soul-winning. In 2000, she began her teaching career in Mathematics at a high school in Lovejoy, Georgia. In 2001, she began teaching at the collegiate-level at Bauder College in Atlanta, Georgia. She was there for eleven years and in 2010, she received the faculty excellence award. In 2012, she relocated back home to New York and became an assistant to her father at the New Beth-El Baptist Church in Queens Village, New York.  Along with serving with her father, she has developed a young women’s mentoring program and has become the director of Vacation Bible School for the church.  In regards to her teaching career, she began teaching mathematics at Baruch College CUNY, a well-recognized and nationally-awarded school, where she is top-rated by students and noted as an effective instructor by her peers.

About the Book

“The Seven Fs to a Fruitful Life” is the beginning of Roslynn Bryant’s new mission of writing books that will present God’s Word in a practical and concrete way that will allow readers to readily apply Biblical truths to their everyday lives. The Seven Fs include our faith, family, friends, finances, fitness, focus, and future. Roslynn Bryant details how to maximize your potential in these seven key areas often giving Scriptural insight, words of wisdom and practical advice.  The book is reader-friendly and real-life related.  It has the potential to empower you to become productive and successful in your personal attainments.  You will also be given key principles to enjoying satisfying relationships with others. You will truly be able to experience the abundant or fruitful life that the Lord Jesus has made possible. On a personal note, this book was birth out of a very painful disappointment regarding Roslynn’s own aspirations in life. The dedication of the book is very personal and revealing.  It states, “To God who has given me beauty in the midst of ashes and light in a dark place.” It was in a very low place for the author that God gave this beautiful and enlightening insight called, “The Seven Fs to a Fruitful Life.”
