She Let God Write Her Story is the inspirational and motivational account of God’s perfect salvation plan for Yelena Borichevska, who, after several trials, now enjoys His blessings.

Yelena Borichevska’s She Let God Write Her Story is a personal memoir about how, as a young girl moving to the United States just after 9/11, giving herself to God and allowing Him to dictate her life, leading to blissful and blessed fulfillment.

Raised by devout parents, Borichevska lived her youth in Rivne, western Ukraine, before crossing the Atlantic and settling down in Vancouver, Washington, just a little after 9/11 happened.

Although Borichevska had always been a faithful believer (and still is), it was only after surrendering to the divine plan of perfect salvation that she deepened her close personal relationship with God and realized that belief offers profound hope and an eternity of peace.

She Let God Write Her Story is 200 pages of concrete, personal accounts of how true Christians can live their lives authentically through faith and devotion to the Word of God as manifested in the Scriptures.

The Will of God

Christians usually talk about two aspects of God’s will: the sovereign and prescriptive wills.

  • The sovereign will of God is the certainty of His ultimate plan. When God says that an event will pass—it will happen because it is simply the way of things; it was laid out when He began creation. It will happen despite what some might do to prevent it. God’s sovereign will is immovable, similar to an act of nature (which some would say is an extension of His will). There is catharsis in that despite what trouble awaits humanity, they can never route God’s ultimate plan, and all humanity is part of that plan.
  • The prescriptive will of God is His guidance for his children. Humanity is instructed to follow the Ten Commandments and biblical law. Still, it is not imperative: people can choose not to obey, with the knowledge that regardless, humans can never derail God’s will.

Living According to God’s Will

When it comes to the divine and the mundane, answers are found in Scripture.

There is profound wisdom in the Sermons of Jesus on the Mount in the case of knowing the will of God (Matthew 5:3-11):

  • Look for righteousness always, despite the risk of persecution.
  • Do not taint your spirit, and always be mindful of the world.
  • Show mercy first, and always conduct yourself in peace.
  • Strive towards purity, and always be humble.

Knowing What God Planned for You

It would be much easier if humanity had a hotline for God. Yet, if that were the case, society would not comprehend the glory of the Lord and take it for granted. The wonder of life is the struggle people go through and the change and gratitude that comes with it.

Here are some things that Christians can do to know God’s plan:

  • Be among like-minded people.
  • Be under the truth.
  • Be in meditation with Scripture.
  • Be in prayer.
  • Be open to His will.

A Faithful Believer

Yelena Borichevska is a mother to one daughter, whom she deeply loves. She has a large but close-knit family consisting of two brothers, five sisters, thirteen nephews, and six nieces.

She has been a healthcare worker for over a decade, providing the best care to patients and holding warm relationships with co-workers.

On the side, she has a real estate business, allowing her to meet with a broad group of people and receive a substantial amount of remuneration, which lets her do what she has always dreamed: of providing for those in need.

She is currently working to realize the other dreams that God has gifted inside her heart.

Borichevska loves to spend time with family and nature, traveling God’s green earth, rollerblading, reading, and spreading positivity and goodness to everyone around her.
