Wellness is a multitude of aspects working toward building humanity a better experience, including physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.

In discussions of health, people typically prioritize the physical aspect.

Without the body functioning properly, individuals can’t be expected to achieve anything. After all, it’s the vessel designed to navigate life and interact with the other living to establish meaningful experiences and connections. Hence, it comes as no surprise that to achieve the success and quality of life people have set their eyes on, maintaining physical wellness has its apparent importance.

But is this enough?

The body may be devised to navigate the world physically. But it can’t form genuine and solid connections without a mind and a soul regulating its encounters. People must remember that physical health isn’t humanity’s sole priority. To attain a life well-lived, they must balance the physical with mental and spiritual wellness.

From its name, spiritual wellness may allude to healing or nourishing the spirit, an internal process typically associated with prayers or spiritual rituals.

However, spiritual wellness isn’t traversed along a limited and singular path. It branches out into a wide variety of options and customs. Prayers aren’t the sole food people must consume for their spiritual wellness; hymns and chants aren’t the only means to strengthen their spirits.

Instead, any practice that allows them to connect more within themselves can be a gateway toward a stronger spiritual foundation.

To build on their spirituality, people are encouraged to create profound connections more than introspect. This doesn’t necessarily mean they neglect themselves. Rather, it’s to spotlight the wellness of forging better relationships. In finding people who share their beliefs and thoughts, people don’t only experience a sense of belongingness. Instead, they may feel affirmed, nurturing a profound sense of being and self-esteem. This encourages them to control their lives better, making more consequential decisions that foster better experiences, leading to substantial growth.
