A Heartfelt Journey: Love, Loss, and the Resilience of a Beautiful Soul

Hear Me Speak, Thoughts from an Angel, a true story of love, addiction, depression, loss, and awareness. It is a story about a beautiful soul, lost, struggling, hopeful, trying, sinking.

Kelsie’s Voice: A Mother’s Tribute to Love, Struggle, and Resilience

This story is the innermost thoughts of my daughter, Kelsie, a beautiful, vibrant, charismatic 23 year old. She was my joy, the love of my life, but struggled with drug addiction to mask her severe depression and anxiety. Both were crippling and debilitating for her.

A Mother’s Heart: Kelsie’s Story, Fentanyl Awareness, and the Words She Left Behind

This book tells her story, our story, and provides important information on fentanyl. Pages from her journals fill this book. Pages of doodles, quotes, thoughts, notes she put to paper while in rehab or just passing the time. You see, I lost my love to a fake Xanax pill laced with a lethal dose of fentanyl. It happened one night at home, the house was full, we were cooking out, she was getting ready to see a friend. At one point in the evening, I walked to her room to chat and found her unresponsive.

A Mother’s Mission: Sharing Kelsie’s Story to Expose the Truth About Fentanyl and Addiction

This is the beginning of my nightmare. I felt her story needed to be told, to warn others of fentanyl, to let others who also struggle know they are not alone, and to see addiction through someone else’s eyes. Someone who lived it. Through her death, this tragedy, what I consider to be murder. Poisoning.

Kelsie’s Cause: Raising Awareness, Offering Hope, and Fighting the Fentanyl Crisis

I felt the need to take action. This action took the form of a nonprofit, Kelsie’s Cause, fentanyl facts, truths, awareness, now on every social media platform, along with publishing this book in the hopes others may find comfort in her story, to know they don’t struggle alone. And to hopefully warn parents and others of this crisis killing our children.

Fentanyl has blanketed the U.S. via Mexican Cartels, China, and an unsecured border. Fentanyl poisoning is The leading cause of death for people ages 18-45. It is being mixed into substances and made to look like real prescription medication. People of all ages are dying in the amount of approximately 300 a day! A classroom of kids a week. Fentanyl poisoning is the biggest threat we face in America (DEA).

My book now has 2 editions, the first, paperback, on Amazon: the Second edition, hardback, and more pages from her journals, at lulu.com.

I hope you will follow our social media accounts, share information about fentanyl, talk to your kids, buy and share our book. It may save a life.
