What is your book all about?
…Salem And The Sphinx War is a Fantasy book that follows the adventure of a young boy as he discovers his fate to be a dragon friend. Both him and his angel dragon Medea will have to fight against the sphinxes to protect the powers of the light.
What inspired you to write the book?
…Well, I have to say that I was inspired by several things, one thing was the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini. After reading about Saphira I was inspired to write a story that featured a dragon that was completely opposite to the mentioned dragon. I was also inspired by Dragon Of The Lost Sea by Laurence Yep, as well as the original movie that was called The Flight Of Dragons, released in 1982.
What is your target audience for the book?
….I would say that my target audience would be children 10-18 and young adults. The Dragon Friends Of Delmore would be a good starting series for a young Fantasy fan that’s just starting to read full novels and chapter books.
What do you hope readers could get out from your book?
…Well, my series aims to inspire, as well as to entertain. I hope that readers can enjoy the books enough to perhaps eventually become writers themselves. It is any author’s dream to one day become successful in his chosen trade and not only inspire new authors, but also have his fans enjoy what he does.
What are your future goals/plans for the book?
….Well, I hope to one day write at least 14 books and complete the series. I would like the series to take on The Wings Of Fire series by Tui T. Sutherland. I’d like my series to be just as popular, and have just as many books included in the series.

….I have always enjoyed reading Fantasy and Young Adult novels, I enjoyed the adventure and the world. That was one reason I decided to start writing.
Something From The Book.
…A young boy Salem will learn his fate the day when he meets Medea, his angel dragon. Their lives have been intertwined together since either were born. Together they will be one, both dragon and rider. Salem is a young homeless boy and Medea is the Princess of the northern angel dragons of Delmore. It is Salem’s quest to set out with Medea to fight off evil, he will find out what his fate has in store for him as a dragon friend. It’s a dangerous life, but someone has to do it. Salem will also discover the truth about Medea being his guardian. About how she had always defended him up until the day when he met her. Ever since that day his life has forever been changed, he will find the strength to become a hero. Their quest will take them to new places and new countries, to fight against the sphinxes, together they will travel the world. Up on dragon wings Salem will feel at peace, because when up on Medea’s wings he won’t have to think about the chaos that reeks havoc below them. They fight against the sphinxes to prevent them from wiping out the human race in Delmore and to stop their evil scheme. With the help of the other angel dragons they can block the sphinxes from achieving their goal of world domination and save the world. Salem will be the thing that legends are made out of, both himself and Medea. In Delmore dragon friends of antiquity have fought against evil to spite the wicked and to protect the innocent for thousands of years. That is the path of the dragon friend, and a path that Salem will have to follow. To follow the path laid out by his ancestors he will become legend, the last true dragon friend, a hero.
