An Artist’s Journey of Self-Discovery
I had always been an artist at heart. As a child, I filled my school notebooks with doodles of whimsical creatures, each one was a little window into my vibrant imagination. But growing up, being an artist wasn’t seen as, “a real job,” according to my parents, and so I had never received formal training. Instead, I learned later in my adult life through pure determination, by experimenting with pencils, ink, paint, and digital brushes, I taught myself everything I could about art.
Blending Art, Passion, and Creativity
One thing for me that has always remained constant is my love for art, books, and animals.
After a while of painting pet portraits for people and making money with my artwork, I decided to create a coloring book. This one was based on some of my original artwork, they were pieces I had spent years drawing in sketchbooks, on canvases, and even digitally. This collection was deeply personal to me because were some of my sold paintings that I wanted to transform into this coloring book. I had made some pieces that were filled with abstract designs, nature-inspired elements, and dreamy landscapes as well. This book became a bridge between my artistic past and the new creative journey that I was forging. This precious book I created is called; Cerebration Meditation Coloring Book.
A Celebration of Cats Through Art
Many years later, I started with another simple idea, a cat coloring book. But it was not just any book, it was one that would showcase a variety of different art styles. I wanted something for everyone of all ages. So, whether they preferred intricate designs, cute cartoonish felines, or elegant, flowing lines that captured a cat’s grace I wanted it all available to them in one place. Seventy-five pages later, I created something truly special. Each page carries a bit of my journey, a testament to my self-taught skills and all those years I spent refining my craft.

Giving Dogs Their Moment to Shine
Sometime later, I realized something was missing. Cats had their spotlight, but what about their canine counterparts? With that thought, I set out to design a dog-themed coloring book as well. Fifty-five pages later, I had captured the charm and loyalty of man’s best friend. From playful pups, regal hounds, and fluffy companions I created this new book for artists of all ages to color them and bring them to life. This book I called: Pawsitively Perfect: Just Dogs Coloring Book!
A Journey of Passion, Persistence, and Creativity
As I hold all three books in my hands now, I realize something profound. I had done this all on my own. Without formal training, without a roadmap, just with my passion and persistence.
My journey hasn’t been about perfection. It has been about growth, about taking an idea and turning it into something real. Through my books and my journey, I hope I have given others the chance to want to create and find their voice too.
Because at the heart of it all, art wasn’t just about talent, it’s about sharing our joy, one coloring page at a time.
