LOVE IS THE ANSWER

     First of all I would like to than Reader’s Magnet for this opportunity to express my views and feelings and let people know more about what my book My Spiritual Journey is all about.  Reader’s Magnet is a wonderful company to work with and and I do appreciate their help.     In the prior blogs I have written, I have tried to lay a ground work for why we have to go through the good and the evil for our growth and development.  Of course most everyone knows, (or maybe not nowadays) that all good comes from God and all evil comes from Satan. I am a very firm believer in God and the Holy Scriptures. I do read in the scriptures each and every day.   It is my hope that some of you still love God enough to want to know more.  I’m no professional scriptorian, I’m just a little ole lady that came from the country and learned the good ole county ways.  I’ve had some powerful experiences though and would hope to share some of them with you in My Spiritual Journey, which can be purchased on Amazon for a very nominal fee.

     My journey actually began when I was very young….say maybe eight or so.  My dad was a great scriptorian, being so because of a very serious injury he suffered in his forties.  He was crippled for the rest of his life, so because he was a very conscientious person, he read and memorized scriptures almost every day and could quote scripture for hours on end and he knew what they meant.  He knew a LOT about what was going on in the world and what to be mindful of.  He started teaching me at a very early age about the Communist conspiracy and how dangerous it was.  We had just been through WWII and between Germany and Russia, millions of their own citizens were murdered because they didn’t follow their idology, not to mention how many of our own military were killed.  He explained to me why these things were happening.  I was pretty well informed by the time I graduated from High School.  He had given me a very nice copy of the Book of Mormon for my sixteenth birthday and I had started reading it.  I just kept on learning and studying after I got married and started having my family.  Everything fit together very nicely and I was able to understand world affairs and could see what was happening. I came to the conclusion that the only way to know the truth would be through the scriptures.  It is impossible for God to lie or if He did, He would cease to be God.  The Bible tells the truth, and sometimes the truth is very hard to take….especially if you’re filled with guilt.  In this world we live in now, it’s almost impossible to know what’s true and what isn’t.  Frankly, it’s in a mell of Hess.  Having said that, let me try to explain some of what I do understand.

     First of, let me express to you how much I care.  I really do care about each and every one of  you, because I know that we’re all children of God and He loves every one of us more than we can even imagine…..sins and all.  He is so anxious for any of his children to turn to Him for help.  He will listen to anyone that sincerely and earnestly seeks Him.  He is patient, kind, loving, forgiving, peaceful, gentle, and has tremendous patience.   He puts up with a lot from His wayward kids.

     This world now is so much different that the one I grew up in.  I was a teen in the 50’s, the best time there every was in this world for a kid to live.  The war had been over for almost ten years, and the economy was good.  It was so peaceful, until the Korean war broke out, but we didn’t feel it that much in the States.  Dwight D. Eisenhower was the President of the good ole USA.  The schools were good, and we had good teachers, the music was good, the movies were good….had good morals and decent content.  It was all so good.  Then the 60’s rolled around and things started changing.  The first major thing that happened was that Madeline Albright campaigned to take prayer out of the schools, for which they did.  I’m not sure when the pledge of intelligence was banned.  I believe that that was the first big step toward Socialism.  They want the Government to be their God and give them everything.  Then came the Flower children and free love, then the removal of the Ten Commandments from public buildings, parks, etc.  (It would never do to have something in a public place that said not to lie, steal, or have illicit sex)  In the 60’s and 70’s the big push was “God is Dead!”  They even tried to keep radio stations from playing Christmas carols at Christmas time.  It has been a steady moral decline in every aspect of our lives.  We are now at a very crucial time in the history of our world.  There is only one guarantee of safety now and that is in coming to Jesus Christ and following His counsel.  He love us all so much!  Repentance is very necessary  to be a follower of Christ, that is unless you’re already perfect….what a laugh!!  Who in this world is perfect?

       When I was a little girl and was out to the farm with the other kids and our daddy one day, we were just getting ready to pile into our old beat up pick-up and as I was standing there looking out over the western hills and mountains, I could see the top of a mountain that looked like the roof of a house.  Standing there a sudden troubling thought popped into my curious little head.  I wondered if the world would ever come to an end.  I ask daddy that question and he told me that it certainly would and that the time it would, would be known as the last days…..and that those days were already beginning.   Well, it’s been over seventy years since that day and have I ever seen the changes!  When we got home that night, I was all questions about the last days.  Daddy answered all of my questions and went on to tell me that after all the terrible things happened that that the most wonderful, beautiful world anyone can imagine would be where we would be living, a place called the Millennium.  It will be like the Garden of Eden.  It will be called a Terrestrail place, where now we’re in a Telestial place.   For that day onward that subject grasp me like no other.  We talked about it a lot.   So, I’d say we’re in the LAST of the Last Days even now.  

This is why it’s so important for me to do what I”m doing. People are in no way 

prepared for that to happen.  It doesn’t mean that everything will just suddenly blow up and it will be done and over with…..it does mean that the wicked will be burned at this coming because they will not be prepared for such glory.  Malachi 4:5 states that the wicked will be destroyed before the Great and Dreadful day of the Lord’s Second Coming.  But before that day comes but before that day comes, there will be great tribulation like as to nothing this world has ever seen (Matthew 24)  If you’ve studied Revelation in the Bible, you know that we are in the day when the Anti-Christ will rear his ugly head and than will the great challenge begin.  There has a been a polarization going on for quite a few years now.  The good are getting better and the bad are getting worse, and when that time comes, the sheep will be separated from the goats, or wheat from the tares, and the good will be protected and the bad destroyed. It was the flood the first time.  It will be fire the next time.  We just don’t want to be around when that happens.
