When I was little, I always wanted to be an actress but when I got older, I didn’t want that so much. I wanted to create something so, I started watching a lot of authors on YouTube, and they inspired me to write my first book. Lola Rising took me ten years to write this book. The target audience for Lola Rising is 18+. I hope you, the reader, get to escape from reality and enjoy Lola and all of the other characters in the book.

I was born and raised by my parents, Chester and Edith Whisler, in Port Jervis, N.Y., and moved to Los Angeles, California, twenty-five years ago. I love my hometown, but California is so beautiful to me. There are so many things around me that inspire me to write here. I can’t imagine living anywhere else.
