It never happened. Let it go: free from suffering by S.M.M.

What is your book all about?

“It never happened. Let it go: free from suffering” is a book about how to heal and move on from breakups and/or toxic relationships. Regardless of the main reason(s) for a couple to split up, most people have the same patterns: most of the time involuntarily, they use their memories to cause pain to themselves, and they lose themselves. In other words, they live in the past, and in what could have happened, to the point they disregard all those things that they like and bring joy to their life. They forgot they are responsible for building the life they want and bringing happiness into it. Therefore, “It never happened. Let it go” is a book that will help you understand that healing is a process that does not happens overnight, how to use your memories to learned from not only the other person`s mistakes, but also your own mistakes, and how to go back to loving yourself and be ready/open for new relationships.

What inspired you to write the book?

I am eager to help people to build the life they want, and I also believe everything starts from inside out. Therefore, based on my knowledge in psychology, personal and external experience I realized I could aid people who have emotional wounds and do not know where and how to start their healing process.

What is your target audience for the book?

My target audience are young adults, adults and the elderly. Any person who has gone through a breakup and/or toxic relationship is my audience. Being brokenhearted hurts a lot, and sometimes when you are emotionally down, you do not know how to stand up and move forward, or you just do not have the motivation to do so. Therefore, this book is for all those who need help in their healing process.

What do you hope readers could get out from your book?

It is worthy and priceless the feeling of self-love and control over their own life. Therefore, I would like my readers to know that it is on their hands to move on and heal, nobody else can make the decision for them. Also, they need to understand that feeling better and building the life they want is a process that needs dedication and patience, but it is not impossible.

What are your future goals/plans for the book?

I would like my book to be on more platforms and reached by a larger audience. I also would like my book to become a key tool for readers to improve their life and step out from negative feelings caused by past bad relationships.

And something more about yourself.

I was born and raised in Colombia and moved to New York City when I was seventeen. That was the best decision I made. Living in this city gave me the opportunity to open my mind and learn from so many different cultures, and I feel blessed for having this opportunity. In addition, I have been passionate about psychology, philosophy, and writing since I was little, and I have tried to combine my knowledge, and the fact that I am a good listener to help people with situations or problem in their lives. One of the things that I have learned in life is that with some help and effort, people can build the life they want.
