Lois Werth Mimbs, author of two other books, is a widow with a message. Lois earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and taught at the Alabama State School for the Deaf in Talladega. Married for forty-five years to Al, a minister, she served as his caregiver for the last eleven years of his life. Still learning to live without him, Lois leads a weekly Bible study in her home, plays the piano for her church, and for a care center in Spring City, Tennessee.
