Dr. Knapick “Choose to Be Happy” helps people deal with life’s difficulties: stress, unhealthy relationships, unrealistic expectations, negative self-esteem, and life pressure. Choosing happiness is quintessential.

Choosing to be happy is a persistent effort. However, it is not something that comes naturally, to be honest. A lot of people had to train themselves to think happily. Indeed, like millions of people, you struggled with periods of depression and anxiety and had to live with episodes of rumination and periods of debilitating panic attacks that have beaten your mental health and happiness down. Choosing happiness is for everyone.

You will also learn that these problems should not define you or your mood. Indeed, you can still see happiness as a choice, but it requires focus and effort to stay positive (and, of course, professional help or medication when appropriate).

Happiness is not a result; it is a choice. Nothing or no one will make you happy until you choose to be satisfied.

It sounds staggering, but it is reported that people make around 35,000 remotely conscious decisions every single day. Some of your choices are great, and others could be better. These choices make up part of your life activity. The book “Choose To Be Happy” by Knapick is one great inspiration for choosing happiness as one life choice!

Dr. Knapick’s Book based on the latest segment of Author’s Corner in America Tonight with Kate Delaney

The book gives people tools to deal with life and problems. Dr. Robert Knapick has a master’s degree in behavioral science. He also did a master’s degree in metaphysical science, which helped him understand how to motivate people to be happy, get out of the embrace with other people, and become positive.

He shared that his book writing progressed because he did programs in hospitals to help people deal with problems. Dr. Knapick has over a hundred letters from people who told him that he saved their lives just by talking to them about ways of being happy and being a positive person as opposed to (being a) negative (person). That motivated him to say, “Look, I need to go ahead and move forward,” thus, the book was written.

Further, Dr. Knapick provides techniques and practices to turn negativity into happiness, as well as personal experiences and testimonials by individuals who have used these techniques.

Learning from experience, finding faith

Dr. Knapick shared that he grew up in a low-class family in Texas. When he was seventeen, his father had a heart attack, and he gave him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, but he passed away. This circumstance was not too good since he was getting close to his father.

The following year, his mother announced that she was getting married and needed to find his own place. She gave him two suitcases for Christmas, and that was it. It was a very rough life for him then.

Robert became a teenage alcoholic and then gave up drinking when he realized it was not good. He became an atheist. At his friend’s encouragement to look into Christianity, he attended a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting. Here, he met some awesome guys, got lots of support, and the next thing he knew, Robert had his first Bible (the New Testament) in his life and read the whole thing that night. That was a big life-changing moment for him, so he chose Christianity. Henceforth, Dr. Knapick went from a guy beating people up and being adverse to being helpful. His whole life changed, and he started focusing on doing good, becoming a good person and helping others.
