Author Jacqui DeLorenzo shares several inspiring tales of hope and courage intended to resonate with anyone who has suffered a hardship or the loss of a loved one. A Thread of Hope: A Woman’s Spiritual Journey of Faith from Trauma to Triumph. A Thread of Hope is an inspiring memoir published in 2007. In this book, DeLorenzo shares her experiences with bullying, the break-up of their parents’ marriage, the death of her brother, and her struggle with cancer.

About Jacqui DeLorenzo

Jacqui DeLorenzo, MS, LMHC, is an author and an academic counselor. She attended the North Shore Community College, where she obtained her associate’s degree and was an honors graduate. DeLorenzo then completed her bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (B.S. Counseling 1984-1987), where she graduated as summa cum laude. From 1995 to 1997, DeLorenzo worked on her master’s degree in psychological services/counseling and graduated summa cum laude at Salem State University. She is also a licensed health counselor (Commonwealth of Massachusetts).

Throughout the years, Jacqui DeLorenzo’s passion for helping others, especially in assisting students with their goals never waned. Despite resigning from her post as an academic counselor at North Shore Community College only recently, she continues to aid the student by working part-time. Jacqui DeLorenzo is currently pursuing her dream in voluntary work while remaining true to her mission with guiding students in achieving healthy self-esteem and success. 

DeLorenzo spends her time as a volunteer for Hospice and homeless shelter. Aside from volunteer work, she also loves to travel with friends and family. She is also spending with her other love- writing and is currently penning another book.
