For more than two billion people around the world, it’s always a matter of faith. These people don’t need proof that a man named Jesus Christ walked on Earth two thousand years ago, died, and rose again to fulfill God’s plan. However, beyond belief extends a vast territory for research. Non-believers are skeptical about the existence of Jesus of Nazareth, thinking his story is built on a legend like of Robin Hood. Unearth the historical and scientific evidence to try and answer the common question Christianity is continually asked: Does Jesus Christ actually exist? Many have tried, but it was only Kelly Don Ford who answered this long-lasting question in his well-researched book the 72 Hour Authentication of the Christ. Today, let’s get to know this meticulous author and faithful follower Kelly Don Ford.
Kelly Don Ford
Kelly Don Ford is born and raised in Texas during the first year of the Baby Boomer generation. He was a vibrant life during his youth, thanks to his paternal grandmother. He reminisced how his paternal grandmother in May, Texas, would entertain him in the summers of his youth. It was an unidentified find one summer day that shaped his future interests and drives today. He grew up paying a lot of attention to God. And at the young age of 12, an opportunity opened for him to teach from the pulpit, which he accepted with open arms. Ever since, he’s grown closer to God with a strengthened faith.
By 21 and in the middle of his college education, he served the U.S. Air Force from 1966-1970, volunteering in Korea. Had a traumatic experience on the way back from Korea in-flight, returning home severely wounded but a reputable veteran. Kelly Don Ford later earned a B.S. degree in 1988 from Southwest Texas State University, now known as Texas State University.
Kelly Don Ford is married and happily in love with his wife of more than 48 years. He is blessed with a big family, from his kids to his great-grandkids. At the age of 74, he is diagnosed with Lymphedema and Parkinson’s but still feels ultra-blessed. After all, there are too many blessings to account for than challenges. His illness does not stop him from doing what he loves to do: writing.
Writing is his passion. Today, he continues to write to relax and use his spare time. As of date, he has written and published three works, Ancient Signs of Deception (1998), Timecraft (2004), and The 72 Hour Authentication of the Christ (2020). Kelly Don Ford continually researches and discovers topics and contents for his next book. Everyone can’t wait for the release of his next amazingly meticulous book.
The 72 Hour Authentication of the Christ
Kelly Don Ford’s latest book proves Jesus not to be an imposter by being in the grave for 72 hours—three days and three nights—not the 36 hours that most Christians adhere to. This is a short read but an enlightening one that will strike any Christian or non-believers alike. Ford uses the Bible pairing it with logic, theological analysis, and scriptural detective work to closely examine this centuries-old question surrounding Jesus’ existence. The book digs deep into the death and resurrection of Jesus and its connection to modern-day Christian traditions. Ford highlights the significance of this timeframe and the prophet who knew the value of these hours. The 72 Hour Authentication of the Christ is a groundbreaking book filled with the right answers to momentous questions to affirm biblical truth.
