I’ve always been fascinated by the concept of morality in supernatural beings. Are demons truly evil, or do they have the capacity for change? What happens when the things we fear most are the only ones who can save us?
ALTERED STATES was born out of these questions. I wanted to explore the blurred lines between good and evil, free will and fate, and how love can be both a weapon and a weakness. The idea of hidden bloodlines, supernatural wars, and fate-driven connections has always intrigued me, and I wove all of these elements into a fast-paced, character-driven story.

ALTERED STATES is just the beginning of The Hidden Beasts Series. The next books will dive deeper into the hidden war between supernatural factions, the secrets of Alyssa’s family bloodline, and Lucas’s struggle to fight his inner demons—both literal and metaphorical.
I expanded the series into prequel novellas, featuring Alyssa’s cousins because they will have novels, too. That series is Chronicles of Hidden Beasts, and readers will get to know the families before Lucas arrives. The world of The Hidden Beasts is vast, and there are many stories waiting to be told.
As for publishing, I’m working on reaching a wider audience through BookTok, online promotions, and digital giveaways. I want as many readers as possible to experience the journey of Lucas and Alyssa.

Writing has always been my passion, but I’ve also worked as an editor, technical writer, and book coach. My goal is to help other writers bring their stories to life while continuing to create immersive worlds in my own books.
I write under two pen names: T.L. Reigns, which focuses on fantasy, urban fantasy, romance, and mystery. My stories are layered with action, deep character development, and elements exploring the good, the bad, and the in-between in human and non-human characters.
