Zero

Zero

A suspenseful mystery romance.

What is the book about?

Zero is the third book in the Satan Sniper’s Motorcycle Club series. The book is part of a bigger plot which is revealed in books 1 and 2 and continues right until book 4, revolving around the mysterious woman named Beggar and her on and off relationship with the Satan Sniper’s enforcer, Zero and her need for vengeance.

In the book Zero, it shows the true depth of torture Beggar has faced from her ex-husband Lucca Sanati and brings an unlikely friendship between a beggar and an heiress (who would’ve guessed right?) when the two ladies get kidnapped.

But while the Satan Snipers search for the missing women, they learn of mysterious deaths in Kanla, as well as face off with each other when the club stands divided about Beggar and her place with them.

It’s a heart wrenching book, with a brilliant coming of age story, of a woman who has only ever faced adversary and has only known heartache and pain her whole life.

The story made me cry more times than I can count, since it was written with so much raw emotion. Zero is a guy who is horrible at romance, and Beggar is this broken woman who has never known a simple touch. And while in theory the book is a mystery, military romance, it is a lot more than that. The story is about friendship, love, pain, healing, and hope.

In one part of the book Beggar says, hope is a fools courage and she is a fool. For Zero, he doesn’t want to love her, but to him she isn’t Beggar, she is his beauty and he is the beast.

What inspired you to write the book?

Writing Zero was inspired by a man I once met on the street. He was a beggar, who once served his country and ended up homeless on the street. I spoke to him for a bit, then gave him some food. He told me his story and it broke my heart. I couldn’t stop thinking about it, that one day I just began writing about a mysterious woman who lived behind a dumpster and lost all sense of her identity that in the end she called herself Beggar. The mafia element came to me by chance. I was once sitting in a restaurant, when my mother whispered that the people who owned the place were part of a syndicate, and like a festering bug, my obsession with the mafia grew until it became a part of most of my books.

The emotional elements are unique which came from experiments, like camping outside in the cold, spending the day on the streets, spending time with bikers, and asking plenty of questions. When I research for my books, I usually go to the source and distinguish between fiction and non-fiction in order to get the best story I could write. I am a far cry from a perfect writer, I still have tons to learn and I can’t wait to learn more. Though sourcing out information is my best form of research. It really helps to get the character development on par. Although I always run out of words.

What is your target audience for the book?

My target audience is between 18 and 45, although people who are older have read and loved the book. It depends on one’s preference, but my stories usually are for mature audience who have little to no triggers. My books do not romanticize abuse or violence. In fact it is the opposite. I write strong female leads, and always show how they get themselves out of the holes they got themselves in, coming out stronger than before.

What do you hope readers can get out from your book?

My books are written to uplift people and show people that happiness is a choice, and no matter how down in the dump you are, there is always a way out. It has a significant element of surprise because who doesn’t enjoy a twist and turn in a story?

I love a bit of mystery, and characters who are strong and grow while facing adversary. Especially female characters because I am not the damsel in distress kind. So, my goal in life is to lift women up through my writing as I was once lifted.

What are your future goals/plans for the book?

So far, the book has gotten a re-edit, and a new print edition will be out soon. The book is part of a larger story line, which continues with the Satan Sniper’s Motorcycle Club series, in books 4 to 6, and book 7 which will bring Beggar in again as a main character.

A fun fact about my books — The Satan Sniper’s Motorcycle Club, Secrets of The Famiglia, Lessons from a suspect, and Love, Hate, and Billions, are all part of the same world, and part of a larger plot. So if you haven’t already, please give them a read, and tell me what you guys think.

Something about me?

I’m an unpredictable writer, so I never know when I will write crime fiction books or fantasy fiction. I am obsessed with reading fantasy and paranormal romance books. I am an excellent cook, and as handy as a guy on any day. I’m currently 4 and a half months pregnant, with my second child, after 14 years. So I am super excited about that.
