I am honored to write this article for the Author’s Lounge.
As Rebecca’s life unfolds, she begins to receive threatening letters from a stranger who wants to control her actions. Rebecca realizes the only solution for the safety of her family is to run away. She finds herself homeless, jobless, and alone.
Who is the stranger? What does the stranger want with Rebecca? Will she figure it out before it is too late?
The inspiration for this novel came to me in my dreams. I could not stop thinking about the dreams, so when I was at the doctors, for a different issue, I talked to him about it. He suggested that I put it on paper since my subconscious had a story to tell. That night I opened my computer to a blank page in Word and started to write the story. One page at a time it developed into a book. It took me about five years to finish since life got in the way.
During that time, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am happy to say she beat it and still alive today. My dad went through some health issue such as heart surgery and radiation for thyroid cancer. He is also healthy and alive today. However, there was wonderful news, I married my best friend and had a wonderful honeymoon in New York City.
The target audience for the book is anyone who is over 18 years old and who likes a great mystery novel. Everybody who loves the action, surprises, and unexpected stories would enjoy this book.
The message I would like my readers to get from the book is to lean on family when you need help. Your family can have ideals to help you when you needed the most. After all that is what family is all about.
This story, The Letters Of A Strange, has unleased many ideals for future stories. I cannot wait to see where my writing journey will lead me.
I work in the finance industry by day and author by night. My favorite things are writing, traveling, hiking, and meeting new people. I enjoy talking to individuals and learning about their life.
I have always enjoyed reading books that are full of mystery, suspense, murder, action with a love story. The love of these stories is the foundation to my dreams of publishing a novel in the same genre.
