What inspired you to write the book?

I, author JC Anderson, enjoyed writing this book so much. It started with the short stories. Then, I thought to myself, “this full story needs to be told.” What happens between friends when one is gorgeous, outgoing and sexually uninhibited and the other is shy, thoughtful and sexually stagnant? Then, the stagnant friend has an awakening? How does the other friend handle it? Is she happy? Grateful? Or does she start making stupid decisions to prove she is the better of the two? It was my joy to answer these questions. I got such great feedback from my beta readers and actually owe the final product to them and their suggestions. I hope you love this novella as much as I loved writing it. I look forward to making you a fan!

What is your target audience for the book?

Definitely an adult audience, eighteen and older. The sex scenes are smoldering and not intended for young eyes or the faint at heart.

What do you hope readers could get out from your book?

I, author JC Anderson, want my readers to be entertained. Fall in love with the male character, hate the enemy, love the main character and identify with the characters and the situations. Hopefully, no has ever experienced anything like what the book describes. But we can all chat about that friend who wasn’t really a friend.

What are your future goals/plans for the book?

This is the first book in a series of three. I want the characters to play off of each other and set up the story for the next book. And as most authors, I want as many people who can to enjoy the stories that I tell.

Author JC Anderson is a mother to one 2-year old boy and a step mom to an 11-year old little girl. She and her her husband have been together for almost 7 years, married for 4. She has a BS in Chemical Engineering and a MA in Accounting. Though her educational exploits have launched her career further than she’d hoped, it was writing that fed her soul and allowed her creativity to flow. Writing has always been near and dear to JC’s heart as she has been writing romance and erotica since she was in high school, approximately 25 years ago. She would write her stories in a basic college-ruled notebook, each story no more than 2-3 pages each. She would circulate the notebook around class and eventually around campus, soaking up her classmates’ reactions each time she shared her stories. It was for fun then, but it’s serious now. She sought an outlet for the stories that cloud her mind and rob her of sleep, some nights and is grateful to Amazon kindle for providing a way. She never professed to be the greatest writer, but she believes she can tell a story. A story that will make you blush and wish you were a character on the page.
