Eleanor Gaccetta: An Awardee of the Best Book of Memoir

by | Jun 21, 2022 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

Turning a personal journal into an inspiring account of dedicated caregiving, One Caregiver’s Journey by Eleanor Gaccetta was awarded the Best Book of Memoir by the Pinnacle Book Achievement Awards.

Receiving recognition for a literary work is every book author’s dream. Thanks to the National Association of Book Entrepreneurs (NABE), the Pinnacle Book Achievement Awards was born to discover brilliant, practical, and scholarly masterpieces. The awarding body searched for books that can be reviewed and recognized for excellence for almost four decades.

In the summer of 2019, One Caregiver’s Journey by Eleanor Gaccetta was nominated under the Memoir category. Fortunately, the Best Books nominees in the same classification of literary adroitness included Eleanor’s journal. As such, NABE’s bookselling magazine, “Book Dealers World,” honored and mentioned the book. It also received a certificate and sticker of the award and a feature on the Pinnacle Book Achievement Awards’ website.

The book recollects how Eleanor Gaccetta attended to the daily needs of her late mother, who got injured at the age of 93 until she passed away at 102. Eleanor vividly recorded the relationship between caregiver and patient, daughter and mother. It is a selfless story of compassion, love, and care for an elderly loved one. It is a perfect reference for individuals planning or currently serving as caregivers.

Aside from her award-winning One Caregiver’s Journey, Eleanor also wrote another non-fiction book, Generations of Good Food. The book compiles nearly 200 Italian recipes published by ReadersMagnet. Get thrilled to cook and cake by browsing the book.

The two books are available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, ReadersMagnet, and other popular bookstores.

If you’ll be attending the ALA Annual Conference and Exhibition, Eleanor’s books will also be displayed at ReadersMagnet’s booth. Visit us this June 24-27, 2022 at the Walter E. Convention Center in Washington DC. We’re excited to see you there!
