About the Author

Nora Wellington is CEO/founder of N Wellington Associates LLC, a long term care consulting company, specializing in helping Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) and Nursing Facilities (NFs). She has twenty-seven plus years of hands-on licensed nursing home administrator experience. She is very passionate about patient care, quality, and regulatory compliance.

To share her expertise, Wellington has published two books: (1) The Fundamentals of Quality for Long Term Care, Part 1, and (2) Long Term Care Monitoring Tools Resident Meal Time Dining Experience Kitchen & Food Service. She also wrote an article as a host writer for McKnight’s Long Term Care News; Title: “Tips to Help Staff Increase Familiarity with Federal LTC Regulations.” She has also designed training workshops on topics such as “Effective Communication Skills with Focus on Assertiveness”; “Customer Service Effectiveness”; and “Team Building” for small size organizations.
