“The Marionette.” Is Grace Maier-Crook’s debut novel. It is a riveting love story peppered with a mystery component. She began writing it back in 2002 and has revisited it often over the many passing years. Having more time available to devote to writing, she has embraced taking on the final preparations for publishing.

Rebecca and Timothy are a young couple, who are deeply in love. They both grew up living in the lap of luxury, were sent to the best schools, and were expected to live their lives by the ground rules their parents put in place. But that is not what either of them desire. They want nothing more than to escape the pressures and demands placed upon them by their parents.

They embark on an adventure of a lifetime, but all the while secrets, lies, and manipulation taint their journey and lead them in unimaginable directions. Just before they are slated to leave, Rebecca stumbles upon a series of letters and photographs which reveal staggering and previously unknown information related to Rebecca, Timothyand everything they believe to be true. She confronts the man responsible for writing the letters, who turns out to be Timothy’s real father. She is unconvinced by his words Rebecca sets out on a journey to rectify the wrongs and find out the truth.

Those involved in their lives are rarely who they seem to be and have hidden agendas of their own that may forever change the young couples’ lives. will their love for each other pull them closer together than ever?

Writing is a gift from God. Words flow forth, beginning like a rivulet then transforming to a raging river. The power of my words is who I am. I am on a new adventure and I’m strengthening myself and thinking more outside of the box than ever before. My words are soaring on the wings of an eagle. Spreading across the heavens, allowing the world to see who I’ve become as a woman and an author.
