About Jo Ann Gramlich

Jo Ann Gramlich is an award-winning author and speech-language pathologist at Pediatric Educational and Diagnostic Services-ECMC, Buffalo, New York. She holds a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She provides assessments and remediation services for children, especially those with communication disorders, at the same pediatric institution. Gramlich also provides speech-language therapy for elementary and middle school students at Buffalo Public School District of Western New York. 

She was inspired to write her book by personal interests and passion for helping young children with their disorders and watching them learn, thrive, and achieve. Being an aunt to 12 nieces and nephews, Gramlich has extensive knowledge of keeping an open dialogue with kids of all ages. She firmly believes that tapping into a child’s imagination and mind is the first step to empowering every child. Currently, she lives in Buffalo, New York, where she continues her writing and educating endeavors.
