Jasmine: A Woman of Color is divided into eight sections. It begins with Jasmine’s marriage to Mike. Both were single parents who found love and decided to get married and start a family. However, a little over a year into their marriage, Jasmine discovers that Mike is having an affair. As the book progresses, Jasmine learns more about Mike’s extra-marital activities and has vowed revenge. However, aside from the things that Jasmine is discovering, another crisis is unfolding, one that will catch her on surprise. She discovers a threat to her life and unless she solves this mystery, Jasmine and her children will never be truly safe. Jasmine: A Woman of Color is not your typical romance novel. It is filled not only with passion, deceit but also with several unexpected plot twists that will leave you at the edge of your seat. About Monique Boyd

Author Monique Boyd was born in New Jersey but was raised in Kansas since the age of two and has since lived there. Boyd has spent most of her years working in the administration office. For more than three decades she has worked between the Boeing Company and Spirit AeroSystems. She has also worked as a Senior Executive Assistant for the last 21 years.

As a professional Monique Boyd is an active member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP).

Monique Boyd’s literary journey started in 2018 when she published her first book Jasmine: A Woman of Color. Since then, Monique has been working diligently on their second and third book. When not busy with writing, Monique loves to spend her time cooking, crochet Afghans, traveling, and reading romance novels. She considers herself a romantic at heart. Monique Boyd is also active in her church community.

Monique Boyd is divorced, and have six grown-up children and 16 beautiful grandchildren. Author Monique Boyd currently resides in Kansas.
