Travel photographer and author Nicki Collins Geigert has been to many places, taking fantastic pictures of magnificent wildlife and foreign lands. One of her most celebrated works is a travel book that captures one of Africa’s most beautiful countries- Madagascar. In 2017, Geigert released Family Trip to Magical Madagascar and Beyond, a collection of photos that chronicles their trip to some of the famous tourist spots and majestic locations in Madagascar, as well as a glimpse of Zimbabwe.

Family Trip to Magical Madagascar and Beyond takes us to an adventure of a lifetime on magical Madagascar featuring the unique Baobab trees, the Tsingy de Bemaraha, Isalo National Park, Nosy Be, and Madagascar’s rivers, waterfalls, indigenous animals, birds, insects, reptiles, (all non-poisonous), endemic plants, and trees. San Diego 2012 is a 2013 adventure book that features a Polish family’s adventure. The family goes on a sailboat with the famous American yachtsman, Dennis Conner, also known as “Mr. American Cup.”

Bianca’s Big Adventure is another travel book. This 2018 book features a young girl who wants to become a wildlife conservationist. After high school, she then takes travels to Australia, where she learns first hand about the country’s efforts to protect and preserve endangered animal species.

Who’s Yawning Now? is Nicki Geigert’s latest work. Published in 2020, the book features a wild variety of animals caught yawning. The book also includes descriptions about the animals, such as their habitats, their status, and some information on why some animals yawn, such as when they feel stressed.
